welcome aboard

Ships of Hagoth is a digital-first literary magazine featuring creative nonfiction and theoretical essays by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Where other LDS-centric publications often look inward at the LDS tradition, we seek literary works that look outward through the curious, charitable lens of faith.

(version 0.9.13) is a legacy modification for World of Tanks (WoT) designed to help players identify critical internal modules and crew locations by overlaying colorful, hatched patterns on enemy vehicles.

First appearing for game version 0.9.13 around late 2015, this mod was a staple for players aiming to improve their technical gameplay by targeting specific weak points during combat.

While informational hitzone skins that only show where modules are (like this one) are generally permitted, always check the Official Fair Play Policy before installing mods. 3D hitzone mods that make tanks transparent to show modules in real-time are strictly prohibited and can lead to permanent account bans.

The mod uses a specific color-coding system to indicate where players should aim for maximum damage or tactical advantage: Most vulnerable spots for penetration. Pink: Ammo rack (Ammunition storage). Green: Engine. Blue: Fuel tank. Yellow: Crew members. White: Indicator for the tank's "top" gun. Zoom Activation (Distance Limits)

To keep the screen from becoming cluttered, the hitzones are not always visible. According to the World of Tanks Portal , the markers appear based on your viewing distance:

Hitzones are visible from up to 300 meters away. Legacy Status and Usage

While this specific version (0.9.13) is outdated for the current live client of World of Tanks, similar "Discrete Hitzones" are still maintained for newer versions (e.g., 1.26.1.1) on community hubs like WoTportal.cz .

IONS

We are hoping—for “one must needs hope”—for creative nonfiction, theoretical essays, and craft essays that seek radical new ways to explore and express theological ideas; that are, like Hagoth, “exceedingly curious.”

We favor creative nonfiction that can trace its lineage back to Michel de Montaigne. Whether narrative, analytical, or devotional, these essays lean ruminative, conversational, meandering, impressionistic, and are reluctant to wax didactic.

As for theoretical essays: we welcome work that playfully and charitably explores the wide world of arts & letters—especially works created from differing religious, non-religious, and even irreligious perspectives—through the peculiar lens of a Latter-day Saint.

We read and publish submissions as quickly as possible, and accept simultaneous submissions.
