If testing a card with no display output, use an integrated GPU or secondary card and specify the target index: ./mats -n 1 -e 50 .
MATS specifically targets the Video RAM (VRAM) of NVIDIA GPUs. When a graphics card shows artifacts, crashes under load, or fails to output a signal, MATS can pinpoint exactly which physical memory chip is failing.
While it supports a wide range of architectures (from the 900 series up to modern RTX 40 and 50 series), it is exclusive to NVIDIA hardware and does not work on AMD cards. How to Use MATS
