According to the official Steam Community Patch Notes, this update focuses on critical bugs that hindered long-term gameplay:
Most players will receive the update automatically. If it hasn’t started, navigate to your Library , right-click Ostranauts , and select Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files to force a check.
While this hotfix is compatible with most v0.10.x save files, it is always recommended to back up your save data before updating, as the complex physics simulation in Ostranauts can occasionally react unpredictably to code changes.
Addressed a common crash-to-desktop (CTD) error occurring when players attempted to dock with derelict ships or use the nav station.
Resolved issues where certain context menus would stay stuck on the screen or fail to register clicks during high-stress EVA maneuvers.
Ostranauts v0.10.0.11 is a hotfix update primarily designed to address stability and performance issues following the major "Deadly Environments" release. As a Steam Early Access title , the game updates automatically for most users, but you can manually trigger the download by restarting your Steam client or verifying the integrity of game files.
