The (Russian: Dvorets Sovetov ) was a colossal, unrealized architectural project meant to serve as the administrative center and congress hall for the Soviet government in Moscow. Designed by architect Boris Iofan , it was intended to be the world's tallest building, reaching a height of 416 meters (1,365 feet) and topped by a massive 100-meter statue of Vladimir Lenin.
