Set your host resolution to match your target client device (e.g., for Steam Deck or for Switch) to avoid scaling issues .
Switch to Desktop Mode, search for Moonlight in the Discover store, and install it.
Usually caused by an outdated version or a firewall blocking the connection. Ensure both host and client are on the latest "completed" stable release.
Download the Moonlight.nro file and place it in the sdcard:/switch/Moonlight-Switch directory.
Use a tool like the Samsung-Jellyfin-Installer to sideload the Moonlight app. Configure v1.0 Optimal Settings: Resolution: Native to your device ( for most TVs). Frame Rate: Set to FPS for OLED Steam Decks). Video Decoder: Set to Automatic to minimize latency.
Ensure your host PC has Sunshine or NVIDIA GameStream enabled.
