The game features simple, high-speed platforming where you control a young girl named . Your goal is to explore the cursed citadel of Hamartia , collect eight golden stars , and return them to the entrance to lift a curse.

Nana’s only attack is jumping on enemies' heads. Enemies are color-coded (e.g., green, red, blue); you can only damage colors you have "unlocked" by gaining enough XP. Defeating weaker enemies levels Nana up, allowing her to backtrack and defeat tougher ones.

The game world consists of a 64-room grid (8x8). Due to its MSX roots, there is no smooth scrolling; instead, the screen flashes or pops instantly when you transition between rooms.
